Aludel takes a text file, a PDF, or a web page and turns it into a two-voice episode: an editable line-by-line script, your choice of voice engine, a finished file ready to publish.

Import
Drop a .txt, .md, .html file, a PDF, or paste a URL. Aludel extracts and cleans the content, chapter by chapter when needed.
Edit the script
The two-voice dialogue is editable text: rewrite a line, change who's speaking, cut what doesn't work. It's the cheapest place to fix quality.
Listen and export
A player with synced waveform and transcript, click-to-seek. Export to MP3 or WAV with metadata, plus the transcript.
Automatic chapter detection
For books with a table of contents, Aludel finds the chapters and offers them as separate episodes (experimental).
Text cleanup before synthesis
Numbers, abbreviations, and odd formatting get normalized before reaching the voice engine.

Connect OpenAI, Anthropic, and ElevenLabs with your own keys, or stay fully offline with Ollama and Piper. No account required, no telemetry.
Keys live in the macOS Keychain, not on Aludel's servers.
